Excellent local, family owned Mexican restaurant! Try the crispy cauliflower - tossed in a spicy aioli! Amazing! And, if the weather is nice, enjoy dining outdoors.

We stopped here on the way from Boston to Philly, it was a quick detour. The tacos were excellent - we tried fish, chicken and al pastor. All were seasoned well, with generous portions and colorful presentation. The homemade tortillas were excellent - tasty and thicker than most, so you really only needed one per taco and they did not fall apart. They were so good, we ordered some to take home! The guacamole was decent, could have used a bit more salt and lime.

There are lots of choices for Mexican food, but few are as memorable as Frida’s. The restaurant is decorated with pictures of Frida and adorned with flowers. They also have a nice outdoor seating area. When it comes to the food, Frida delivers. Shoutout to the staff who is super friendly, attentive, and welcoming. They’re great at making conversation and suggestions. A few standouts from the times I’ve been here are the Frida Flautas, Esquites, Short Rib Tacos, Al Pastor Tacos, and the chimichanga. My partner and I love this place and look forward to our next visit!

Found this place on yelp was looking for a quick bite to eat in the neighborhood. Place is small on a nice quiet block. They do have outside seating which we choose to sit. First and foremost no liquor license do no margaritas smh. I wasn’t aware before dining here. The servers were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious and authentic. We ordered guacamole it was delicious. My favorite was the seafood tostadas yummy... i also had the short rib tacos so much flavor and they provide three with homemade corn tortillas.

We visited this place after a trip to Yankee Stadium (excruciatingly hot day) and it was exactly what we needed. The service was incredible. Kind and welcoming and quick! the Sangria HIT THE SPOT. My family still hasn't stopped talking about the food. Fresh, delicious and made with such care. The cheesecake is out of this world! Treated like family vibes and food was amazing. Next time we visit NYC, we will be back for sure.

I visited this spot after reading all of the wonderful reviews and it was AMAZING!! The food was out of this world!! The service was superb. We ordered the shrimp quesadilla, the surf and turf tacos(shrimp and short rib), the guacamole with cheese/mangos and the churro. This meal was life changing!! I will definitely be coming back!!

The service was great, the hibiscus tea beverage was tasty, all of the food was fresh and presentation was gorgeous. The maduros (sweet fried plantains) were fried to a perfect crisp on the outside and sweet and and smooth on the inside. The use of fresh mexican ingredients made all of the dishes pop as well.

Good food and fast service. I got my steak tacos to-go and they were ready quickly. More importantly, the food was fresh and delicious. I didn’t dine in, so I can’t speak to the service. But everyone was friendly when I ordered my take out. Not much else to say. Recommend spot for tacos!
